Miranda-
That’s exactly what MODI said!… and thank you for following me over (you too, Imhotep!)… and I asked on the other post, should I licve blog the Lakes-N.O. game tonight?
LMAO. Gonna see if I can get the prankster next door to try it. ROFL
Seriously though. Good to see you with David Zinn. I caught him on KPFA out here in the Bay Area promoting his book on Ali.
Finished Asterisk.. Good book and does a good job refuting Shadows. Your writing is better and provides significantly more context. As a consequence, more meaning, and more to relate to in everyday life.
Just started “From Superman to Man” For some reason it took almost 3 months to ship from Amazon.com. It looks like its privately published, and the typeset is a little difficult to read. But that in no way takes away from the richness and depth of its narrative. I can’t remember if it was Grace or Miranda who recommended it. Extremely profound and moving.
(Remember that old Reebok Pump Commercial with the Bungee jumper that got banned?)
My guess is this is a viral Nike ad, and a very irresponsible one at that
We are living in a world where people watch a video and then go “Ghost Ride” the whip
Who ever said corporate responsibility ever exited tho…?
(Off Subject)
I’m not trying to be funny at all , and I know that it doesn’t tie in to the general theme of the blog, but is there any chance the hockey playoffs will get any love on the site? There only the best playoffs on the planet fam lol
E,
“From Superman to Man” should be required reading for high school juniors…I think back to what WAS required of me by my english teacher – Great Expectations, The Canterbury Tales, two or three plays by Shakespeare, etc. – and seriously, this book would have provoked so much more interest in our class. I think back now and realize how incredibly bored and uninterested we were in the reading selections.
Oh Lord, someone is definitely gonna try this at home.

Umm, Why jump over a moving vehicle? Still seeking public acceptance? If so, this must be his diamond ring to the public.

Looking forward to your new digs.
Keep up the great work.
