  1. Thanks for posting Dwil. I was too lazy to send you my picks.

But anyway I have UCLA winning it all over Tennesse.

I have UNC, UCLA, Tennesse and Georgetown in the final 4.

Also I have Beasley dropping 40 on USC in a first round upset of Mayo.

Daaaaaaaamn! Hey, the crazy thing about this year is almost er’body’s Final Four projection is as viable as anyone else’s… and I’m with you on Beasley dropping 40 I just think Tim Floyd will really emphasize stopping everyone else (that pro coach thing when playing against a superstar – either put all your eggs into stopping him or all your eggs into stopping everyone else)….

  3. I got Xavier and UNC in the final game… of course the gritty, gutty Hansbrough takes home the title 🙂

  4. I have the gritty Hansbrough on many. many brackets, too.

  5. I’m taking a flyer on a lot of my usual assumptions: my four consists of UCLA, Stanford, Tennessee, and Kansas. Like Origin, I got Tennessee and UCLA going for the title, with Ben Howland and the Bruins finally cashing in.

I think a bit of Pac-10 homerism might have creeped in this year — although I really think Arizona’s ripe to get beaten (that’s a different team with Kevin O’Neill on the bench rather than Lute Olson) and I have Winthrop beating Wazzu.

  6. S2N-
This ain’t last year’s Winthrop *at least I hope not because I didn’t pick them on any of my brackets !)

  7. D – naw, it isn’t. They lost players, the coach that guided them there, and they shoot free throws worse. But I don’t have the winner of that game making the 16 at all.

So, I’m winging it. There’s no logical basketball reason to think the Eagles will upset the Cougs — but March Madness operates so little on paper logic in the end….

  8. …someone forgot to tell UGA that they’re supposed to be losing.

  9. Hatin’ Georgia right now, I even looked twice at them and then was like, naw…..

  10. UGA is shooting 55% right now.

This is the earliest my bracket has ever taken a dive since I’ve been filling these things out.
